The State of Ageing Report from the Centre for Ageing Better in 2019 stated: “Our extra years of life are a gift that we should all be able to enjoy and yet, increasing numbers of us are at risk of missing out. Ageing is inevitable, but how we age is not.” It is therefore our mission to improve the wellness of older people in our communities.
Our Support Workers and Companions are professional, compassionate and matched to clients based on interests and
location. To become a Support Worker or Companion, applicants must proceed through a 2-stage interview process. All of our staff members are Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Friends, and are provided with DBS Checks, PPE and full training. They should therefore be very proud in the knowledge that they are part of a wider, growing team of very patient and kind-hearted people, making a real difference to the lives of those in our community.
